In this article, I am going to discuss the FIRST of the 5 habits of millionaires, that hopefully, you can adopt, and put into practice. Creating these changes in your habits will undoubtedly catapult your quality of life and your income.
The first habit that millionaires have that most people do not, is that of SOWING SEEDS!
Millionaires know that prosperity and success do not just fall out of the sky with no effort on their part. Nobody can expect a plentiful harvest without sowing the seeds necessary, and millionaires seek out opportunities to plant seeds everywhere they look. There are many ways to sow seeds into your network or internet marketing business, and here are a few:
Each dollar of your initial start-up capital is a seed. You can't get something for nothing, so investment capital is obviously a must-have. Do you think that there is no investment necessary for someone opening up a restaurant? A book shop? A nail salon? A pet-sitting service? A hotel? Of course there is! Do you think that Donald Trump started his first business with no money? Of course not! But, somehow, people think that starting an ONLINE business should be free! If you are starting a "business," you must look at it AS A BUSINESS! There are expenses related to your joining a program or business. There are marketing expenses.
You must advertise your business, and there IS money involved with that. Capital is needed for training materials, like books, courses, etc. Capital is needed for your automated systems, such as your autoresponders, or your website hosting, that will need to be in your monthly budget. These are all necessary for you to effectively run your online network marketing business. Realize these things, and you're already ahead of most of society, who think they can just plug their name into one system, and all of a sudden money will start flowing from the sky. What company would give their "members" a bunch of cash without any effort? None. And that's where most people think they were "scammed." They thought they wouldn't have to do anything. They found out there was actually WORK involved, heaven forbid, but really, they just scammed themselves. Start-up investment capital is a HAVE-TO-HAVE! (The more, the better.)
Other seeds that must be sown, are your seeds of marketing!
You must intelligently sow marketing seeds, as to get yourself and your business out there for as many people to see as possible. Let's face it, no one will know you or your business/product exist unless you TELL them. The internet is a dog-eat-dog world, and you must set yourself apart from the crowd. You should be able to learn the best way to sow your marketing seeds, from your sponsor, your team, and other people in your circle. If there is not a training platform in place to teach you what is WORKING in the marketing arena, then stay away!
Marketing is a constant thing. You cannot place one ad, and put up one webpage, and one video on YouTube, and wait by the phone. You must be willing to stay consistent. You must be omni-present on the internet. Your seeds must be planted everywhere.
Immediate implementation of the things you learn are seeds. If you are a "professional student", and you are constantly reading, learning, soaking in everything you can, but you are not implementing what you are learning, you are wasting your time all that knowledge, and keeping all those seeds to yourself. You will get "clogged up" and end up paralyzed with information overload. You must plant the seeds of what you take in, by applying them somewhere. Immediately. Millionaires don't wait! They do it! Even if you are not completely sure of yourself, it doesn't matter. The more you implement, the easier it becomes.
Your thoughts and words are seeds. Your inner thoughts and your outer words are seeds you are planting into yourself and your business. Whether they are positive or negative is up to you. But, do you think Bill Gates was one to say "I can't" or "It's too hard?" Heck no! Your thoughts determine your words, your words determine your actions, and your actions determine your results. If you want to prosper, and reach your goals, you must THINK those seeds in your mind. You must SPEAK those seeds outloud into your world. Personal Development is a must, for this purpose. There are seeds of life, and there are seeds of death. Which ones will you plant for yourself and your business?
Yes, with sowing seeds, there comes risk, but you must get comfortable with the risk! Millionaires cannot be made if they are afraid of risk. Everything in life that is worth having, is worth the risk it takes to get it.
